With the rapid growth of the "one-person living" urban population, the business model and space that respond to the needs of single people are also growing quietly. If a major life disorder for contemporary young people is "social fear", then "lostness" is the "symptom" that accompany it. The theme pop-up store "Lonely Noodles Store" designed by J&Dragon Group tries to experience the place in a bowl of noodles to comfort the "Lonely Patients" in the night of the city.

is located on the first floor of Huaihai, TX, Shanghai. It is only open from 8:00 to 2:00 a.m. Although it is called "noodle shop", it is no longer a catering space in the traditional sense, but more like a collection store with innovative experiences.

Just like the store's slogan: "Give yourself a bowl of noodles to get away from reality." "Lonely Noodle Store" provides a period of time to heal the "lonely patients" in the city. The limited operating time of

, a golden sentence that hits the soul, a special space experience, and a journey of healing "loss" with the "blind box performance" prepared by the administrator.

special operation strategy has also given birth to a special space design . A compartment that can only accommodate one person’s food surrounds the stage at the core of the space. Here is a touching performance, serving you a bowl of "Who won't be lonely at least tonight."

An innovative experience

{ An innovative experience }

The overall facade of the store is interspersed in the form of a smooth metal scaffolding, just like the city is full of order, but it is a little cold. The stainless steel scaffolding device at the entrance is combined with the luminous light strip, forming the only light interface on the street late at night.

The screen on the other side of the store tells the city about "lostness" in the night through golden sentences that hit people's hearts. Simple words can arouse people's resonance and spontaneous "check-in" spread at this moment.

Before entering the store, the roundabout traffic guides the waiting flow, shuttles through the scaffolding, and the small constraints in the space evoke psychological responses, while laying the groundwork for entering the next journey.

5 Entering the main space of the store, the "lonely patients" holding the number plate gradually guided to the room of the corresponding numbers through the linear light strips in the aisle. This dim journey, between the light and shadow, immersing the body and mind, evoking expectations for the next journey.

transitions from the corridor to a separate noodle eating area, and the design is presented in the form of a curved revolving door. The lights are on as soon as the door opens, illuminating another space that is completely different from before. The healing green makes customers more comfortable and relaxed, immersed in the atmosphere of the space, and enjoy the time of a bowl of noodles.

The private room where one person eats seems to wrap people in it. As the music plays, greetings on the front of the screen are about evoking emotions, immersing the body and mind. The subsequent "blind box performance" session pushes the immersive experience to a climax through the screen window. The stage space of the core stage is a focused space. The top uses a circular space to condense multiple private rooms together. A bowl of noodles, a song, a performance, heal everyone who comes here.

In the two months of operating flash , "Lonely Noodle Store" has become one of the hot topics in Shanghai, attracting many young people to experience it on social media. With the rapid changes and innovations in commercial space formats, the experience will continue to be emphasized. This innovative case of J&Dragon Group and the "Lonely Noodle Store" management team is a rare attempt. Under the new business format model, design will also present more possibilities.
