In order to better implement the festival purpose of "promoting new works and new works", the Shanghai Musicians Association has launched a new display platform - "Art Youth" since the 37th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, which will be held every year. The concerts of newcomers and new works with different themes and different art forms show the artistic style of local young musicians in Shanghai from multiple perspectives, and demonstrate the vitality of the new energy of music art.
The first "Art Youth" took national orchestral music as the carrier, focused on red culture, Shanghai culture, and Jiangnan culture, and selected instrumental music forms with Jiangnan characteristics, such as bamboo flute, erhu, guzheng, and pipa, and performed "Original Heart Road" and "Acacia Strong" in turn. The four chapters of "Jiangnan Rhyme" and "China Ode" are not only full of strong Jiangnan charm, but also innovative academic explorations based on inheritance.
For example, the pipa work "Little Sisters of Heroes from the Prairie" combines the multi-segment forms in the traditional national musical form with the sonata forms commonly used in symphony, fully expressing the unique charm of the pipa musical instrument; the guzheng work "Fengqiao Night Mooring" is based on the Tang Dynasty poet. Zhang Ji's famous poems were written, and the author's recollections and sighs of "Jiang Feng fishing fire" were felt in the looming Song and Ming ancient style... The
concert was conducted by Professor Wu Qiang and performed by the National Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. The National Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music is composed of outstanding teachers and students from the Department of National Music.
Shanghai Musicians Association Secretary-General Qiao Jia said, "We hope to introduce young people with more potential, and integrate several music majors such as guzheng and erhu. This year's 'Shanghai Spring' has expanded the intensity of promoting newcomers and new works, accounting for The ratio is close to 50%." (End)
