Like all Windows versions released in the first half of the year, Windows 10 21H1 has received only 18 months of support. The successor of the 21H1 version, 21H2, will be supported until June 13, 2023.

Windows 10 21H1 is not the only version of Windows that is heading towards the sunset. Microsoft will soon stop releasing extended security updates for Windows 7 and completely stop the follow-up work on Windows 8.1.
