According to the memoir "The Vicissitudes of the Past" by the then deputy director Wu Xiuquan, Jiang Qing washed and dressed up before appearing in court. Jiang Qing cared about her image more. Jiang Qing has always been arrogant and liked to put on airs, and did not respect the staff around her.

Jiang Qing was sentenced to death, but was suspended for two years. In 1983, Jiang Qing was reduced to life imprisonment according to law. Jiang Qing was detained in Qincheng Prison. After her crime was sentenced, her daughter Li Na went to the prison to visit her, and Wang Jingqing was also with him.

Li Na lived alone with her children after divorce. Later, she met Wang Jingqing under the introduction of Li Yinqiao . She and Wang Jingqing went to prison to visit Jiang Qing and told Jiang Qing that she was going to marry Wang Jingqing. In 1984, Li Na and Wang Jingqing got married and re-established their family.

After marriage, Li Na still insisted on visiting Jiang Qing every year. At that time, almost no one went to visit Jiang Qing. In addition to Li Na, there was also Jiang Qing's sister Li Yunlu, who also went to visit Jiang Qing. Jiang Qing's original name was Li Yunhe and Li Yunlu was half-sister.

Li Yunlu had been taken care of by Jiang Qing, but she never asked about Jiang Qing. Jiang Qing cried very sadly when she learned that her sister had passed away.

1991 On May 14, 1991, Jiang Qing died at the age of 77. After Jiang Qing's death, his body was cremated and his ashes were handed over to his daughter Li Na for safekeeping. In 2002, Li Na built a cemetery for Jiang Qing in Futian Cemetery in the western suburbs of Beijing, and also erected a monument. The tombstone was engraved with "The Tomb of My Mother Li Yunhe".
