Recently, all construction tasks of Dongtaizi Reservoir this year have been completed. Dongtaizi Reservoir is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Xilamulun River. The dam site is located in Xiachang Village, Xinchengzi Town, Linxi County. It is one of the 172 major water conservancy engineering construction projects during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
In 2022, the Dongtaizi Reservoir asphalt concrete core wall stone dam was filled to an elevation of 672.00m, exceeding the construction tasks of this year; the surface protection of concrete gravity dam , the second phase of the gate trough, and the detailed structure of the dam top were all completed; the construction below the ground of the power plant was completed. The basic seepage anti-seepage project took three and a half years to complete the construction of 247 trough sections, with a wall area of 99,000 square meters, and the anti-seepage wall construction task was completed 180 days ahead of schedule. The number of anti-seepage walls of 100 meters reached 58, and the deepest trough section was 121.24 meters. created a record of the number of anti-seepage walls of 100 meters in China and the number of deepest walls in Inner Mongolia. The concrete beams of the production laboratory building and warehouse have been poured.
At present, the Reservoir Construction and Pipeline Department is organizing the participating units to carry out wintering insulation of asphalt concrete heart walls, protection of finished products of power station factories, and actively arrange the 2023 construction plan and make preparations before de-gate the gate to store water.
