Recently, International Railway Union (UIC) released and implemented the UIC standard "High-speed Railway Design Infrastructure" (IRS 60680: 2022), which was developed under the auspices of my country. This standard is the first international railway standard in the field of high-speed railway infrastructure design, highlighting my country's leading position in the field of high-speed railway. In February this year, UIC has released and implemented the "High-speed Railway Design Communication Signal" (IRS 60681:2021) international standard developed under the auspices of our country. Both of them belong to the UIC "High-speed Railway Design" series of international standards, and will be followed in the future. Two standards, "High-speed Railway Design Electric Traction" (IRS 60682) and "High-speed Railway Design Interface Design" (IRS 60683), which were formulated under my leadership, were successively launched. These four standards are mainly based on my country's railway industry standard "High-speed Railway Design Specifications" (TB 10621-2014), which demonstrates the new responsibilities and achievements of my country’s railways in promoting the internationalization of standards and promoting the “soft connectivity” of systems.

Everyone should have heard the saying "first-rate companies make standards, second-rate companies make brands, and third-rate companies make products." First-class enterprises are the benchmark in the industry and the leader of the enterprise. The enterprise's technology patents, strong capital, the technical parameters of the products they produce, and the product quality requirements will become the template for other enterprises and become the technical standards for the production of other enterprises. With the promulgation and implementation of the UIC "High-Speed ​​Railway Design" series of standards formulated under the leadership of China, it will play a great role in promoting my country's high-speed rail overseas. We must know that when our products go overseas, it is often not the technology or products that are inferior to others, but more often the thresholds and standards they deliberately set that are the obstacles. This event was hosted by experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology and Information Technology of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., China Railway Economic Planning Institute Co., Ltd. and other units, with the participation of more than 20 experts from more than ten countries including France, Germany, Japan, Spain, and Italy, and lasted Prepared over 4 years.
