Hubei Daily News (Correspondents Kang Meize, Li Lu, Yang Deyi) September 16, at the Nansha plant of Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard, a 10,000-ton-class maritime patrol ship designed by the 701st Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation for the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration " Sea Cruise 09 " was successfully delivered.
"Hai Xun 09" is the first 10,000-ton-class maritime patrol ship in my country’s maritime system and the world’s most advanced 10,000-ton public law enforcement ship. It mainly performs maritime cruise law enforcement, emergency coordination and command, and ship pollution prevention duties. Possess a certain degree of deep sea life search and rescue capabilities, emergency material storage and replenishment capabilities, and can be used as the command center of the fleet, as the command ship during formation cruises, safeguarding national sovereignty, and cooperating with maritime rights protection operations.
According to reports, the ship has a total length of 165 meters and a design speed of 25 knots. It is the largest official law enforcement ship with the highest speed and longest endurance in my country's maritime system. The cabin design is beautiful, atmospheric, and practical, and fully considers the optimization design of lighting, ventilation, traffic, vibration and noise reduction, etc., and has obtained China Classification Society related certificates.
The construction of "Hai Xun 09" is of great significance to promoting the sustained and healthy development of my country's economy and safeguarding national sovereignty and security. It is also an important guarantee for my country to realize its maritime power strategy.
