It should be noted that the cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia also has its limitations and cannot be extended to all fields.

The reason is that Saudi Arabia is a beneficiary and strong supporter of the "dollar- oil " system, and the United States and Saudi Arabia have close relations, with the United States stationing multiple troops in Saudi Arabia. If the most advanced Dongfeng 41 of the People's Liberation Army is sold just for the purpose of earning foreign exchange through exports and increasing influence, it may bring unpredictable troubles to China.

According to a report on the Arab Defense website on December 21, Saudi Arabia’s national media Al Sharq recently released a military news on social media regarding the development of China’s Dongfeng 41. In this special program, the Saudi host spoke highly of the prospects for exchanges between China and Saudi Arabia and the progress made by the People's Liberation Army.

The Saudi host hinted that the introduction of Dongfeng 41 will significantly improve Saudi Arabia’s combat capabilities and make Saudi Arabia a veritable military power in the region. We have no way of knowing what Saudi Arabia thinks, but one thing is certain: Beijing will definitely not agree to the latter without substantial improvement in China-Saudi Arabia relations, even though Saudi Arabia is not short of money and may spend a huge amount of money for this.

Why is the development of China-Saudi Arabia relations only superficial? In addition to Saudi Arabia's pursuit of "balance" among the great powers, it is also closely related to the increasingly fierce Sino-US trade war. Washington frequently wields the stick of sanctions against Beijing in order to curb China's comprehensive development. If possible, China must completely relax foreign exchange controls so that foreign hot money can arbitrarily get involved in China's core assets.

Once China's economy is controlled by foreign capital such as " Quantum Fund ", China will lose the ability to compete with the United States and may indirectly become a political tool of the West. To break the blockade of the West, especially the United States, China must start from the United States' weaknesses, such as guiding Saudi Arabia to abandon the "dollar-oil" system and even switch to using RMB as an international crude oil settlement tool.

The question is, does Saudi Arabia dare to do this? As everyone knows, this will fundamentally shake the foundation of American hegemony and cause the United States to lose its global control. In order to avoid a crisis, the Biden administration is bound to take action on Saudi Arabia as soon as possible, and the country may be dismembered as a result.

We understand the anxiety of Salaman’s team to get rid of US control. However, it should be noted that when it comes to the export of heavy weapons from major countries such as the Dongfeng 41, one must be extremely cautious and not let oneself lose the trump card in the military game with the United States for the sake of immediate small profits.

In addition, given that the relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia is still relatively close, who can guarantee that Saudi Arabia will not turn over to the United States if it gets the Dongfeng 41.

Political struggles are not like ordinary trade transactions. There are too many variables mixed in. Some people have said that China has exported Dongfeng-3 ballistic missiles to Saudi Arabia before. On this basis, providing Dongfeng 41 is nothing more than "following the old calendar ". If this were the case, I'm afraid the Saudi media would not take such painstaking efforts.

It is related to regional stability, and China has always advocated the principle of non-intervention and non-alignment. To put it simply, Saudi Arabia’s old grievances with the United States and Iran should be resolved by Saudi Arabia itself, and China can at most provide some peaceful suggestions. As for selling lethal weapons to potential conflict areas, this is not in line with China's diplomatic strategy at all, and China is determined not to put itself in the middle of right and wrong.

If Saudi Arabia is really ready to "break up" with the United States, it must take decisive countermeasures. As long as Salman Jr. officially announces the decoupling from the "USD-Oil" system, the world will surely respond unanimously, and it will not be too late to talk about deepening cooperation with China in the defense field.

"Click to the end" seems to be more beneficial to China-Saudi Arabia exchanges. The international community must not bet on a showdown between China and the United States. After all, a conflict between two major countries is no joke, and there is still room for cooperation between China and the United States.
