Wuzhou Life Port is always by your side
At present, our city has entered the key forest fire prevention period in autumn and winter. The National Emergency Management Department and China Southern Airlines Forest Guard Station continuously dispatch helicopters to Wuzhou. On the afternoon of November 8, an M-26 helicopter with the largest capacity in the world departed from Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province and arrived at Xijiang Airport in our city. In addition, an M-171 helicopter also departed from Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province and arrived in Xing'an County on the afternoon of November 10 to reinforce Guilin. After the mission is completed, it is expected to be transferred back to the Wuzhou base (Xijiang Airport) next week. By then, the two helicopters will be stationed at the Wuzhou base until January 20 next year to jointly perform aviation emergency rescue missions such as aviation forest protection, flood prevention and drought relief, and earthquake relief.
