Not only that, modern naval warfare is very dependent on the command information system database, and the Korean Navy’s original C4I system construction is more focused on software and hardware construction, seriously neglecting the upgrade and optimization of the data information system, which has also led to the naval integration The combat capability is greatly restricted.

According to a report from the “Navy Intelligence” network, the Korean Navy’s C4I system upgrade cost a total of 124 million US dollars, mainly for the integration of new technologies and system integration. For example, the original South Korean Navy’s command and control systems were different in data processing, requiring four terminals to operate at the same time, which also resulted in poor interconnection and poor interoperability and flexibility. After the upgrade, multi-target operations can be performed simultaneously with only one terminal, which greatly improves efficiency. In addition, the upgrade plan also includes the construction of the C4I "standby station", even if the main battle is damaged, the "standby station" can be quickly activated within 10 minutes.
