Jiang Shangqing's father is Jiang Shixi, who is a local Chinese medicine doctor who runs a pharmacy. The old man was very talented and ambitious, and he had always had deep concerns about the country at that time.

His son was arrested in prison. As his father, Jiang Shixi was naturally anxious and quickly operated everywhere and invited lawyer Hu Xianbo to defend him.
Hu Xianbo repeatedly emphasized in court that the child is just young and ignorant, and hopes that the National Government will handle it leniently. However, the National Government refused to release the person easily, and still sentenced him to half a year in prison.

But Jiang Shangqing did not give up on his revolutionary cause. He continued to participate in revolutionary activities in college and joined the Communist Party of China. But not long after, Jiang Shangqing was arrested again while attending a secret meeting and was imprisoned in the Kuomintang's black prison.
This time, he was not so lucky. Jiang Shangqing in prison suffered cruel abuse, so when he was released from prison the next year, his physical condition was very bad, and his body was injured and sick.
But even though he was persecuted by reactionary forces again and again, he never shook the will of Jiang Shangqing's revolution. It is not just Jiang Shangqing, but many relatives of the Jiang family have also firmly joined the revolution, including Jiang Shixiong, Jiang Zhejun, Jiang Shufeng, and other brothers and sisters of Jiang Shangqing. They are all full of enthusiasm to save the dangerous motherland.
After the outbreak of the September 18th Incident, Jiang Shangqing wrote a long poem "Movement - Events of the Three East Provinces" with anger. Because of its enthusiasm for saving the country, it was sung by many people.

After the Lugou Bridge Incident , Jiang Shangqing first published a prose poem "Lugou Xiaoyue", and contacted a group of comrades to establish the Jiangdu County Cultural Resources Association. They promoted the anti-Japanese and national salvation ideas to the workers, peasants and young students by writing group songs, painting propaganda posters, performing anti-Japanese repertoire, and writing anti-Japanese articles, and mobilized many people to join the anti-Japanese cause.
As a scholar, Jiang Shangqing may not be able to be a warrior who charges, but his pen is his gun, and his contribution to the revolutionary cause has long surpassed the text itself.
It is precisely because of Jiang Shangqing's outstanding performance that the superior leaders are preparing to send Jiang Shangqing to eastern Anhui Province to serve as secretary for Sheng Zijin , the sixth administrative inspector and security commander of Anhui Province.
Simply put, it is to ask Jiang Shangqing to lurk beside the Kuomintang officials and serve the revolution as an underground worker. With his outstanding talent, Jiang Shangqing quickly gained the appreciation and even trust of Sheng Zijin, and Jiang Shangqing once became the second-person of the Security Command.
It was at this time that Zhang Aiping also came to eastern Anhui. Zhang Aiping was born in 1910. His hometown is Luojiangkou Town, Da County, Sichuan Province. His family is an ordinary peasant family.
1925, when entering Daxian Middle School, Zhang Aiping also participated in the revolutionary activities, and joined the Communist Youth League the following year, and became a member of the Communist Party of China in 1928.
Like Jiang Shangqing, Zhang Aiping, who participated in the revolution, was arrested by the Kuomintang security team and foreign patrol officers twice, and was therefore persecuted in prison. He was also loyal and unyielding. The enemy had no choice but to release him.
After being released from prison, Zhang Aiping joined the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and quickly grew into an excellent commander and fighter and political cadre.
Unlike Jiang Shangqing, Zhang Aiping fought hard on the battlefield. He was in the battles such as Red Army Crossing the Chishui River, fighting fiercely in Jinsha River, winning Loushan Pass , defending Zunyi City, etc., and Zhang Aiping often charges as a vanguard force, or covers the retreat of the main force of the Red Army as a rear guard, and has truly been tempered by blood and fire.
Thanks to the experience of the Red Army, Zhang Aiping was able to stand alone by the War of Resistance Against Japan. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Chairman Mao sent Zhang Aiping to Shanghai as Secretary of the Military Commission of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, organizing the anti-Japanese guerrilla war in Shanghai, Ningxia and Hangzhou. In 1939, Zhang Aiping became the secretary of the Communist Party of China Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and opened a base in the east of Jinpu Road.
It took only three months to establish an anti-Japanese base in northeast Anhui, including five counties and sixteen districts, which shows its ability. The reason why Zhang Aiping went through her work so smoothly is thanks to Jiang Shangqing.
After hearing that Sheng Zijin's secretary was a secret party member of our party, Zhang Aiping took the initiative to write a letter to Jiang Shangqing. After receiving the letter, Jiang Shangqing was very excited. He was lurking for a long time, and now he is finally coming in handy.
So, Jiang Shangqing immediately arranged a meeting with Zhang Aiping, and the two fell in love with each other during their first meeting. In terms of age, Zhang Aiping is one year older than the young man on the river, so naturally there is no gap.
In terms of personal interests, these two people can be called Boya Ziqi, one is a Ma Shang poet, the other is a literary youth, and both are revolutionary soldiers at the same time. Therefore, Zhang Aiping and Jiang Shangqing became comrades and friends since then.
With Jiang Shangqing's insider, Zhang Aiping's work will be much easier. Sheng Zijin was persuaded by Jiang Shangqing and soon approved Zhang Aiping to establish the New Fourth Army Office in Northeast Anhui.

So, Zhang Aiping's base construction in northeastern Anhui was carried out in a prosperous manner, which resulted in the aforementioned achievements.
But on the other side, Jiang Shangqing's work is lurking in a big crisis. This is not because Sheng Zijin was suspicious of Jiang Shangqing, but because of the contradictions within the Kuomintang.
There have always been many factions within the Kuomintang. Although under the iron-fisted means of Chiang Kai-shek , the various parts were gathered together to fight against Japan, their struggles and struggles between each other never stopped. Sheng Zijin was able to hold great power in northeastern Anhui because of the support of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang. However, Anhui was also the sphere of influence of the Guangxi warlords. Sheng Zijin's arrival was equivalent to "airborne", which made many people dissatisfied with him.
In northeast Anhui, the Guangxi forces represented by Wang Eryi are very afraid of Sheng Zijin. In addition, Xu Zhiyuan and Sheng Zijin, the mayor of Lingbi County, did not deal with each other, and the conflict between the two was very deep.
But coincidentally, Jiang Shangqing and Wang Eryi are old friends. They were both passionate young people, but Wang Eryi chose to defect to the Kuomintang.
After Jiang Shangqing came to northeast Anhui, he accidentally discovered that Wang Eryi was also here, and Wang Eryi was also very surprised. Since then, Jiang Shangqing has also gotten closer to Wang Eryi, and their old friendship has further developed at this time.
After learning about the conflict between Wang Eryi and Sheng Zijin, Jiang Shangqing took the initiative to come out to mediate the two, and Wang Eryi was also willing to sell Jiang Shangqing's face and agreed to do things honestly under Sheng Zijin's men.
With this experience, Jiang Shangqing wanted to continue to reconcile the conflict between Xu Zhiyuan and Sheng Zijin, so he tried his best to urge the two to negotiate to resolve the conflict through dialogue. Zhang Aiping also participated in that negotiation.
During the talks, Xu Zhiyuan was very involved and kept trying his best to laugh, saying that he would definitely settle his past grudges with Sheng Zijin and work together to contribute to the great cause of anti-Japanese war. Jiang Shangqingman thought that even if this matter was done, he didn't expect Xu Zhiyuan was a villain with a smile. He had already planned a conspiracy while participating in the negotiations.
When the negotiations ended, Sheng Zijin and Jiang Shangqing were preparing to return to their base, and there were two roads back. The road was far but flat, and the road was close but there were jungles on both sides.
Zhang Aiping, who was about to say goodbye to his friend, asked Sheng Zijin which path to take. Sheng Zijin replied: "When I came, I walked the small path, and I just returned the same path."
Zhang Aiping said: "The road is rugged, it may not be safe, so I should take the big path." But Sheng Zijin disagreed and insisted on taking the small path.
Seeing Sheng Zijin couldn't tell her, so Zhang Aiping had to say goodbye to them, and he was also ready to return to the base. However, just as Zhang Aiping walked far away, she heard several gunshots coming from afar. Zhang Aiping immediately realized that something was wrong and quickly led her people to rush over. But he was still late, and only a few corpses were left at the scene. Jiang Shangqing, who was walking in front, had already fallen into a pool of blood.

It turned out that Xu Zhiyuan was indeed ambushing people in the small road, and a landlord armed force and a stubborn army had been waiting here for a long time. Jiang Shangqing rode a horse in front and was the first to be hit. Sheng Zijin, who was immediately following, ran away when he saw that the situation was not good. Although he was also hit by the arm, he still escaped, while Jiang Shangqing could not escape.
Jiang Shangqing's unfortunate sacrifice made Zhang Aiping feel extremely sad for her close friend, and this incident became a regret for his life.
Although Sheng Zijin, who had saved his life, escaped back, was amputated because of his serious injury. He wanted to join Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui guerrilla commander-in-chief Li Mingyang . Under Zhang Aiping's persuasion, Sheng Zijin finally handed over his team to the New Fourth Army.

This army of more than 2,000 people was selected by Jiang Shangqing. They later became an important anti-Japanese armed force in northeast Anhui. General Zhang Aiping led them to eliminate the stubborn army that killed Jiang Shangqing. But no matter what, Jiang Shangqing died, and the loss could not be saved after all.
When the news of Jiang Shangqing's death reached Jiangdu County, Yangzhou, the Jiang family was extremely sad, especially Jiang Shangqing's wife and daughter were the most sad. Jiang Shangqing married his wife Wang Zhelan in 1935. After marriage, he gave birth to two daughters and never had a son. According to local customs, the elders of the Jiang family hope to adopt a child from the family to continue Jiang Shangqing's bloodline.

Jiang Shangqing's eldest brother Jiang Shijun has a deep affection for his younger brother, so he adopted his second son Comrade Jiang Zemin to Jiang Shangqing. After that, Zhang Aiping continued to fight in northeast Anhui and gradually developed and strengthened the anti-Japanese base area. By 1944, Zhang Aiping had become the commander of the division of the 4th Division of the New Fourth Army and the commander of the Huaibei Military Region, leading the army to fight south of Xuzhou and east and west of Jinpu Road, and dealing a heavy blow to the Japanese army that had already been declining. But it was also the same year that Zhang Aiping once again lost a close comrade-in-arms, that is Peng Xuefeng we mentioned earlier.
The sadness of the departure of his comrades, the strongest resentment towards the enemy is, just like Zhang Aiping's elegy couplet: "Hate the enemy to kill my comrades and lead the entire army to avenge you." Zhang Aiping and the soldiers' fighting will were completely stimulated by blood hatred. Under their hard fighting, the enemy retreated step by step. And the following year, the fourteen-year war of resistance finally ushered in victory.

In the early stage of the Liberation War, Zhang Aiping went to the Soviet Union for a period of recuperation due to head injuries, and did not return to China until the end of 1948. After returning to China, he focused on building the naval power of the People's Liberation Army.
It is precisely because of this experience that he later commanded the first joint landing operation of our army in the history of the sea, land and air, that is, the Battle of Yijiangshan Island.
Later, Zhang Aiping participated in the establishment of the Second Artillery Force. China's intercontinental missiles, submarine-submarine missiles, communication satellites, and other cutting-edge equipment have devoted his efforts. General Zhang Aiping has thus become an important founder of the development of China's nuclear deterrence force.
