Because since this year, I have indeed been a majority of comrades in my arms, and I attached great importance to the application for the preferential certificate for for retired military personnel. Later, after some comrades received the preferential certificate, they felt that the gap between the expected preferential certificate and the preferential certificate obtained in reality was still quite large.
First of all, the intuitive feeling is that there is a gap.
From the appearance, the preferential certificate has now become a bank card, and some comrades are indeed quite disappointed. Especially when you use the preferential certificate to activate it at the bank, it doesn’t feel that it is so smooth. The bank cannot explain what preferential treatment there are. The key is that you have opened a lot of quick payments for you, and the bank can’t provide any priority for handling business. So even projects that are cooperating with banks are not that good.
Secondly, the preferential treatment you see is not affordable.
Many comrades have received preferential certificates for retired military personnel. To be honest, some preferential programs I have seen now are not very practical. For regular tourism and transportation, everyone thinks that there are not so many free ones, so some comrades have obtained preferential certificates, and they have not used them for half a year.
The older comrade who has an elderly certificate can take the bus in the city for free with the elderly certificate, but it is definitely not possible to use the preferential certificate for retired military personnel.
Third, it is more reliable to treat preferential certificates as a spiritual reward.
So many comrades do have this view at present. There is no need to imagine the preferential certificate for retired soldiers as a big gift package. Can it bring us veterans a lot of material things? You cannot think like this. You can only imagine preferential treatment certificates as honor and spiritual encouragement, which may be more reliable. If you pursue material rewards more and material preferential treatment, you will probably be disappointed.
I think the original intention of producing and issuing preferential treatment certificates for retired military personnel is also to pay attention to a kind of political preferential treatment, rather than to really give a lot of material preferential treatment to comrades. The material preferential treatment has been reflected in the pensions and living allowances for some of the original retired military personnel and other preferential treatment recipients, and these comrades have been raised for 118 consecutive years. To be honest, since our current preferential treatment is a preferential treatment, it is not a legal treatment that needs to be provided to us. It is just that at the national level, various provinces, cities and some related enterprises can provide us with some priority treatment, which I think is already very good.
