From entering Hubei to landing at Huahu Airport, the aircraft will go through three stages. They are the regional adjustment stage for about one minute after entering Hubei airspace, when the aircraft is still cruising at high altitude; 1 minute to 15 minutes after the aircraft enters Hubei airspace Within, it is under the command of the approach controller of the Hubei Air Traffic Control Bureau of Civil Aviation, which means to instruct the aircraft to gradually lower its altitude and prepare for landing. The altitude of the aircraft will gradually drop from approximately 6,300 meters to 2,700 meters; the third stage is when the aircraft enters Hubei airspace 15 Minutes to 30 minutes, the Ezhou Huahu Airport approach controller and tower controller will direct the aircraft to land.
The aircraft entered an altitude of 2,700 meters, which is roughly the intersection area between the Civil Aviation Hubei Air Traffic Control Bureau and Ezhou Huahu Airport Air Traffic Control, and roughly intersects at the junction of Yangluo and Ezhou. Here, the approach staff on both sides will complete the handover of aircraft command. The plane will land on the runway of Ezhou Huahu Airport 30 minutes after entering Hubei airspace. This will also be the first aircraft to land on the runway of Huahu Airport on the day when Ezhou Huahu Airport is put into operation.

In addition, in the design of the arrival and departure routes of Ezhou Huahu Airport, the route height will be different from the arrival and departure routes of Tianhe Airport to avoid mutual interference between aircraft from a safety perspective.

Xie Shenghua said that the Hubei Air Traffic Control Bureau of Civil Aviation has trained 28 controllers and multiple meteorologists for Ezhou Huahu Airport. It also assisted Ezhou Huahu Airport air traffic control in completing the airspace range, demarcation of entry and exit routes, and military and civilian routes.
