Such a normal military exchange competition has caused a high degree of anxiety among Americans. The Washington Free Beacon recently published an article stating that China, Russia and Iran will take advantage of the military competition in Venezuela to hold joint military exercises for the first time in the Western Hemisphere and "pre-deploy military resources" in Latin America. The US media even believes that the Chinese and Russian Iraqi committees have formed an "anti-American front" as a result, threatening US interests in Latin America.
First of all, we need to make it clear that the views of the US media are pure nonsense. Latin America is not anyone's backyard. "International Military Games" occur every year. Even if it is held in Venezuela for the first time, it is essentially a normal military exchange and no one has the right to interfere. The Americans exaggerated normal military exchanges into military alliances, which exposed their own guilty conscience and anxiety.
Looking at the essence through the phenomenon, behind the United States’ anxiety is the reality that the United States’ control over Latin America is gradually declining. In June this year, the United States hosted the ninth Summit of the Americas, but it was boycotted by Latin American countries. At the same time, Latin American countries are gradually moving closer to China and the BRICS system , and cooperation between them is getting closer. Since Panama became the first Latin American country to join the Belt and Road Initiative in 2017, 21 countries in Latin America have signed Belt and Road agreements with China.

But in fact, these cooperations are the choices of Latin American countries themselves and are not forced by others. On the contrary, in order to control Latin America, the United States set up debt traps for , Chile, , Mexico, Argentina and other countries, and used various methods to harvest the wealth of these countries.
Americans also believe that economic cooperation between China and Latin American countries will inevitably evolve into military cooperation, thus threatening the security of the United States. Obviously, Americans whose minds are filled with Cold War mentality still seem to have lingering fears about the " Cuban Missile Crisis ".
But the United States should see clearly that in front of China, its " persecution paranoia " should be cured. China will not put missiles at other people's doorsteps, or readily deploy aircraft carriers around other countries to show off its power. Don't judge a gentleman with your petty ambitions. The United States has messed up the Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe in order to contain China and Russia, but China disdains and will never do this.
