According to normal progress, there are several important things that need to be handled one by one when you first arrive in Finland.
Population registration
After moving to Finland, you must first go to the Civil Affairs Registration Office to do population registration. I have written before that there will be a slogan after registration. In addition, another important thing in population registration is to register your residence address. The registered residence address is very important. You need to have this address for everything you do later. I have registered at present, but there are several notarized certificates that need to be sent from China and then taken to the staff to check them out.

I didn't make an appointment online and went to the site to queue up. There were not many people, so I waited for about 20 minutes after picking up the number. But my situation is quite special, because the validity period of the ID card is the same as the validity period of the residence card, and it will take at least 2 weeks to apply for this ID card. However, my residence card expired on November 12th, and the new renewal information has not been submitted yet, so there is no way to apply for an ID card for me now. Let me wait until the renewed new card is released before applying for an ID card.
Ministry of Labor Registration
If you do not have a job temporarily after logging in Finland, you can go to the Ministry of Labor to register as an unemployed person. For immigration, the Labor Department has a three-year immigration integration plan. After successful registration, a dedicated staff will contact you. Based on your educational background and work experience, you will jointly formulate an integration plan for the past three years, including arranging a series of services such as learning, cultural and career life introduction, internships and employment recommendations. At the end of October, I had already registered as a job seeker. Today I received a call from the staff and talked with me about the subsequent arrangements. open a bank card
In fact, the purpose of applying for an ID card is to open a bank card. Originally, you can also open a bank card with a passport, but I learned that some banks cannot open an online bank when using a passport to open a card. Online banking is very important here, because many government official website applications require login through personal online banking, so I am preparing to apply for an ID card before opening an account at the bank. However, now I can’t apply for an ID card for the time being, so I can only use my passport to open a card first, because applying for a kala card requires filling in the bank account.
I was also drunk in order to open this bank card. I was idle and had nothing to do, so I wanted to go to the scene to ask what the situation was. If I could do it on site, I would do it on site. I went to the bank on November 7th, but I went to four banks on the first day, but none of them were done.
1. I went to Nordea first. After I went in, I said there was no appointment. People directly said that there was no appointment and could not be processed without appointment. Please call to make an appointment first. After I came back, I asked my husband to make an appointment. I called and waited for about 30 minutes before I got through. I finally made an appointment and asked me to go to the site to handle it at 3:30 pm on November 22nd. For , Chinese passport, , they can open an account, but they cannot open online banking.

Many people here do it, which is said to be quite cost-effective. I went to the scene to check and I could get the number, and there were quite a lot of people in line. I didn't arrive until 12 o'clock, and I got off work at noon and stopped processing. I'm too lazy to wait.
Go to this S bank the next day and waited for a while before I arrived. When people heard that they wanted to open an account with a passport, they said they could do it and they could also open an online banking service. But they told me that if they opened an account with an ID card, they would get a card today. However, after using their passport, they used their passport and said that they would have to queue until 2 months later [covering their faces]. There is no way, you have to wait for 2 months. Then I asked a series of questions, and asked me if I was a politician, an influential public figure, etc., and then I set up a password-free payment limit, a single card swipe limit, and the day card swipe limit. I asked about half an hour. Finally, I told me that this card costs 15 yuan a month and asked me if I was sure I wanted to apply it. I thought I had no other choice, so I had to do it. He asked me all the questions and answers on the spot, and then he entered it in the system. When checking the information, I asked me to sign a name on the electronic screen without filling in any paper applications. The online banking system also activates it for me, and then everything will be sent to my home in 2 months.
Apply for social security and medical care card
is the kela card called here. After applying, you can enjoy the corresponding social security and medical insurance here. Originally, this could be applied for through online banking, but I currently don’t have online banking, so after calling us to tell us about the situation, someone sent us the paper application form and asked us to fill it out directly before sending it back. Because some subsidies will be directly transferred to the bank card after applying for the Kela card, I must fill in the bank account number on this application form. Therefore, I am now stuck in the bank card and I have not sent the application form back.
