On October 18, Yang Weiguo, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, led Wu Wei and others to the County People's Congress Legal Affairs Committee to conduct a special investigation on the procuratorate of minors. Ai Yun, secretary of the Party Group and procurator general of the County Procuratorate, Zhang Xin, member of the Party Group and deputy procurator general of the County Procuratorate, and Zheng Chunping, member of the full-time Procuratorate, attended the report meeting.
In the past three years, under the strong leadership of the county party committee and the superior court, under the supervision of the county people's congress and its standing committee, the county procuratorate has strictly enforced judicial cases, intervened in advance, guided the public security organs to collect and fix evidence in a timely manner in accordance with the law, and severely punished crimes against minors. Actively cooperate to comprehensively protect and rescue minor victims, and provide diversified comprehensive assistance in conjunction with the Women's Federation, the County Youth League Committee, etc. Improve the case handling mechanism for minors, jointly carry out special prosecution for minors’ community correction , orderly promote the civil prosecution of minors, and effectively carry out public interest litigation prosecution for minors. Continue to implement the "No. 1 Procuratorial Recommendation", compulsory reporting and employment inquiry system, actively participate in the comprehensive social security governance, and actively cooperate to integrate into family protection. Solidly promote the professional and standardized social construction of malpractice, build a "one-stop" case handling center, create a smart malpractice platform, and innovate malpractice publicity work. "Qingxin" Seedling Protection Studio was rated as one of the top ten events for the third municipal minor protection, the construction work brand of the grassroots courts of the municipal procuratorate in 2021, the creation unit of the city's "Youth Rights Protection Post" in 2021-2022, and the court was rated as the "Youth Rights Protection Post" in Anhui Province in 2018-2019.
After listening to the report, Yang Weiguo fully affirmed the juvenile prosecution work of the county procuratorate. He believed that, first, the position is high, the Party Group and the Procurator General of the county procuratorate attach great importance to the juvenile prosecution work, and the juvenile prosecution work has long-term development goals. Second, work is practical. When handling minor cases, pay attention to the victims of minors, and establish and improve a work mechanism for the protection of minors with relevant county-level units. Third, prosecutors who are familiar with their business and proficient in handling minor cases are proficient in their procuratorial functions in accordance with the law to crack down on and protect minors involved in the case. Fourth, the results are good, and the county procuratorate’s juvenile procuratorial protection work has achieved one remarkable result after another.
Yang Weiguo pointed out that the county people's congress standing committee will listen to a special report on the juvenile prosecution work of the county procuratorate in the near future. He hopes that the county procuratorate will continue to play the role of procuratorial functions, coordinate the six major protections, achieve greater results in the protection of minors, pay more attention to creating brands and highlights of juvenile procuratorial work, and promote Changfeng's procuratorial work to a higher level.
