On December 27, Yang Jun, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of Baotou Science and Technology Bureau, presided over a Party Group (enlarged) meeting to convey and study the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 13th Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Economic Work Conference, and arrange and deploy the implementation work.
The meeting pointed out that the Fifth Plenary Session of the 13th Municipal Party Committee is an important meeting held at a critical period for the city to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference. The
meeting emphasized that the fifth plenary session of the 13th Municipal Party Committee and the city's economic work conference further clarified that "one innovation, three realizations" guides the city's high-quality development, further refined the ideas and measures determined by the fourth plenary session of the 13th Municipal Party Committee, and proposed to adhere to the innovation-driven development strategy as the basic strategy for urban development. The emphasis on innovation-driven development strategies has never been greater. Secretary Ding Xiufeng’s speech at the National Committee devoted a lot of space to deploying the key tasks of the innovation-driven development strategy and put forward specific requirements for the work of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. We must conscientiously implement the work and effectively unify our thoughts and actions to implement the deployment of the National Committee.
The meeting requested that the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau should take the lead in studying and implementing the important instructions of the General Secretary "One Innovation, Three Realizations" and the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 13th Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Economic Work Conference, find the right entry point for the work based on the spirit of the plenary session and the spirit of Secretary Ding's speech, and implement the work tasks one by one. In the near future, it is necessary to quickly start the work of "science and technology physical examination" service enterprises and formulate detailed plans. The leaders of the bureau should take the lead in setting up special work teams to carry out joint service work in various regions, hold symposiums to solicit opinions, publicize science and technology innovation policies, visit companies and science and technology workers, and further strengthen the ties between science and technology departments, science and technology enterprises and innovation platforms. In the next step, we will continue to strengthen the status of corporate innovation entities, accelerate the improvement of the level of innovation platforms, pay close attention to the transformation of innovation results, make full use of innovation policies, strengthen targeted recruitment of talents in key industries and key areas, use solid and effective work to transform technological innovation into real industrial activities, and use practical actions to "love Baotou and make contributions" with good deeds.
