Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics and is also a long-term historical process. We insist on realizing the common prosperity of the people. The people's yearning for a better life should be the starting point and goal of modernization, we should strive to maintain and promote social fairness and justice, strive to promote the common prosperity of all people, and resolutely prevent polarization." This incisively explains the fundamental purpose and clear direction of our modernization, highlighting the socialist nature of Chinese modernization. Common prosperity has been the beautiful aspiration of the Chinese nation for thousands of years and the unswerving goal of the Communist Party of China. Our party has always been committed to promoting common prosperity. Mao Zedong pointed out during the period of socialist revolution and construction, "This wealth is common wealth, and this strength is common strength, and everyone has a share."
