The report of the 20th National Congress of the Party emphasized that we must "stand firmly on the people's standpoint, grasp the people's aspirations, respect people's creation, and concentrate people's wisdom." After reading the entire report, it can be said that the concept of "people first" runs through it. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and Chinese and foreign journalists was only 1,686 words, and there were 17 mentions of “people”, and on average, it was mentioned once every 100 words.
Since its birth, the Communist Party of China has written the word "people" on the banner and integrated it into its bloodline. The Party’s century-old struggle history is the history of seeking happiness for the people wholeheartedly, constantly improving people’s well-being and realizing people’s happiness. It is a concentrated reflection of the Party’s original mission and a realistic reflection. As contemporary Chinese Marxism and 21st century Marxism, Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has a distinct people-oriented nature, and the "people" plays a fundamental and fundamental role in its theoretical system. At every stage of his political administration, General Secretary Xi Jinping puts serving the people in the most important position. "I will have no self and live up to the people" is the answer from the deepest part of his heart.
Adhering to the development philosophy of people-centered and practicing the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly is the fundamental starting point and end point of business work. We have always taken the people's yearning for a better life as the goal of business development. In recent years, we have launched a series of measures to benefit the people in terms of accelerating the construction of "dual-center" cities, ensuring supply and price stability during epidemic prevention and control, strengthening the people's hearts project, and enhancing the role of consumption and circulation in promoting employment, focusing on solving the people's "urgent, difficult, and anxious" problems. In terms of the work in charge of foreign investment, we have comprehensively created new advantages in opening up to the outside world, further increased the efforts of investment promotion, made good use of the two innovation platforms of free trade pilot zones and comprehensive pilot service industry opening, deeply participated in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road", made full use of two international and domestic markets and two resources to serve reform and opening up and people's livelihood construction, and achieved positive results.
"I must think of what the people worry about; I must do what the people hope for." On the new era and new journey, we must continue to follow the Party’s mass line, so that the fruits of business reform and development benefit the people more and more equitably, promote the common prosperity of and make more substantial progress, and give people more sense of gain, happiness and security.
