Public resume shows that Gao Bin was born in October 1962 and has served in Lu'an City for a long time. He has served as deputy secretary of the Huoqiu County Party Committee, mayor of Yu'an District, secretary of Yu'an District Party Committee, and other positions. In 2014, he served as deputy mayor of Lu'an City.
In September 2016, Gao Bin was appointed as member of the Standing Committee of the Lu'an Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee. In February 2021, he was appointed as deputy secretary of the Party Group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Lu'an Municipal People's Congress. He stepped down in February this year and has been investigated so far.
On November 8 this year, Wu Guangjin, director of the Lu'an Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and deputy director of the Municipal Party Committee Organization Department, was investigated. He has served as member of the Standing Committee of Yu'an District Party Committee, executive deputy district mayor, and deputy secretary of Yu'an District Party Committee, and has worked with Gao Bin.
In addition, in October this year, Liu Sheng, former vice chairman of the Lu'an Municipal CPPCC, was tried. The prosecution alleged that from 2002 to 2020, the defendant Liu Sheng used his position as member of the Standing Committee of the Yu'an District Party Committee of Lu'an City, member of the Standing Committee of the Huoshan County Party Committee, Minister of Organization, Mayor of Huoqiu County, and Secretary of the County Party Committee to seek benefits for others in project contracting and bidding agency of , and illegally accepted property from other units or personal units alone or in collusion with others to equivalent to RMB 32.7126 million (of which 11.8977 million was attempted).
