In order to further improve the theoretical level and practical operation capabilities of disaster information officers in the county, we will do our best to do a good job in disaster prevention, mitigation and relief, and comprehensive earthquake management. On November 25, Hengfeng County Emergency Management Bureau launched the 2022 county-level grassroots disaster information officer training class. More than 110 people participated in the training in charge of leaders, disaster information officers and village-level disaster information officers in all townships (streets, farms, offices) in the county. Zhao Zhenzhou, head of the Earthquake Comprehensive Management Section of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, and Xiong Shengyong, Xiong of the Disaster Reduction, Relief and Materials Support Section, attended the scene to provide guidance. Jiang Yongjun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the County Emergency Management Bureau, delivered a mobilization speech at the start of the shift.
This training invited Zeng Lingyan, director of the Disaster Relief and Materials Support Department of the Provincial Emergency Management Department, and Tu Yu'an, engineer of the Earthquake Comprehensive Management Department of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau. The main contents of the training are natural disaster statistics system and disaster management, earthquake disaster knowledge, etc. The two teachers combined the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and adopted a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical cases to allow the trainees to listen with relish. During the lecture, many people actively communicated and interacted with the teachers. After the training, everyone said that the knowledge learned in this training class was very instructive and operational, which played a great role in their future related work.
Through this training, the county's disaster information officers' understanding of disaster information management and disaster emergency response has been further deepened, and has played a positive catalytic role in timely, accurate and standardized disaster information delivery, laying a solid foundation for the next step of grassroots disaster prevention, mitigation and relief work.
