Greece provided military assistance for the first time, providing 40 BMP-2 infantry combat vehicles to Ukraine. The Netherlands once again offers 45 refurbished upgraded T-72 tanks.
In addition to this, Bulgaria, which has never provided military assistance to Ukraine, has now passed the decision to provide military assistance to Ukraine with an overwhelming vote by the parliament. Previously, Bulgarian President Radev refused to aid Ukraine with the attitude of "the person who supports the delivery of weapons is a war dealer."
The change in Bulgaria's attitude and the first time Greece began to provide assistance to Ukraine, Hungary, which has always stood out and refused to provide military assistance to Ukraine, is even more alone. Currently, Hungary is the only country that refuses to provide military assistance to Ukraine (it is estimated that it will be difficult for Hungary to stick to the end). After the Nord Stream pipeline was destroyed by explosion, the EU countries almost cut off energy relations with Russia. Especially Germany, which relies heavily on Russian natural gas, resolutely no longer uses Russian natural gas, which is a huge blow to Russia. Some people regard interests as too important, but for human beings, interests are not, the present is not, and the future is never the most important thing. Otherwise, the countless heroes who sacrifice themselves as others would become alien visitors.
Energy cooperation is the ballast of Russia's relations with the EU. Now with the cut off energy from both sides, Russia has no longer had the trump card to restrain EU countries. EU countries have no worries and can do whatever they want when it comes to aiding Ukraine.
No matter what the point is, the United States is the biggest beneficiary. Therefore, the United States privately does not know how grateful it is to Russia for this special military operation against Ukraine.
