According to the British Mirror, 96-year-old Roy House is from Portsmouth, England. He met his two-week-old great-great-grandson for the first time this week. He has also received three other generations of juniors in the same house. At this point, the House family welcomed the fifth generation of successors, and they were all male.
Roy lives at his home in Portsey and his family visits him every week. He moved there in 1963 and became the first resident of the residential area. Roy's wife Pat died in 1998.
In the past sixty years, 96-year-old Roy has witnessed the growth of the House family, but this is the first time that five generations have gathered. The former Royal Navy took photos of five generations living together with his 75-year-old son Roy Jr., his grandson Michael, 48, great-grandson Liam, 23, great-grandson Alfie, 15, great-grandson Lewis (Edison's father), and two-week-old great-grandson Edison.

New dad Lewis, an electrician, said: "This house has witnessed the growth of five generations and we are still very close. When my partner was pregnant, we thought the baby was likely a boy because the family's genes are very strong. I really don't know why, I never thought why we are all men."
Lewis's wife Emily is the only female member of the family. She said: "That's why it's so special. Edison is a very popular little boy, but maybe one day we will have a girl."
Edison's grandfather Michael said: "Not many families have reached the fifth generation, and they are all men. The genes are obviously very strong!"
By the fifth generation, Roy's memory is not as good as before. He said: "It's strange. When they came in, I didn't know who they were!"
His great-grandson Liam added: "This is true. We always remind him. I am a painter and he is an electrician."
