In order to enhance the grassroots social assistance capabilities and effectively provide assistance to the needy, on October 31, Wujiaochang Street held a mobilization meeting for community rescue consultants in Wujiaochang Street at the Yangpu District "Bridge Plan" precision relief project. Rescue consultants, civil affairs cadres, and children's directors from 32 residential areas attended the meeting.
Yangpu District's "Bridge Plan" is a relief service project of the Yangpu District Civil Affairs Bureau. It is a government-led, social organization operation, and coordinated promotion by multiple forces. It is a two-pronged approach to helping families in need in the community better integrate into society and get out of difficulties.
The project was officially launched in September this year. It uses Wujiaochang Street and Jiangpu Road Street as demonstration points, and uses the "Family Support Center-Community Rescue Consultant" mechanism as a starting point to provide high-quality rescue services. , Zeng Mingyue, project director of Yuanju Youth Social Work Firm, introduced the project content from four aspects: background, service object, goal, and implementation content. It also stated that in the future, the project will empower social workers , community rescue consultants and other personnel participating in this project in Wujiaochang Street through special training on social work concepts; through case, community, group and other service forms, it will promote the reconstruction of individual self-functions of family members and the overall function of the family, and assist the sustainable development of family construction.

According to Song Wen, director of the Wujiaochang Street Community Affairs Acceptance Service Center, Wujiaochang Street has established a community rescue consultant team composed of street full-time rescue cadres + neighborhood committee rescue cadres + social organizations + volunteers.

Through the preliminary survey, the street has collected the basic situation of 16 neighborhood committees and 25 families with multiple difficulties and families with improvement and development potential, and established a WeChat group for the promotion of the "Bridge Plan" project. In the near future, we will conduct home-based condolences and visits and surveys, conduct case management of poor families, and formulate personalized assistance plans with one policy for each household.
