When answering a reporter's question on how to make the people feel fairness and justice in every case, Peng Qiuxiang said that there were sadness in the 18 years of grassroots trial work. "Compared with the city, the conditions in mountainous areas are relatively backward, so it is more difficult to speed up the handling of cases." Peng Qiuxiang introduced that in order to quickly handle simple civil cases, in 2017, Xinyi Court implemented the "diversion of traditional and simple" civil cases. In a divorce case that impressed Peng Qiuxiang, because her mother worked outside for many years, the 10-year-old boy lacked maternal care since he was a child. Before the court, Peng Qiuxiang communicated with the boy, and the other party expressed a wish: "I haven't seen my mother for a long time. Can you tell her to hug me?" This made Peng Qiuxiang's eyes turn red.
