She pointed out that these three women have been living in my country for more than 10 years and are also mothers of two children. For those who have regarded Malaysia as the place where they take root, it is very troublesome to be unable to apply for a permanent residence permit.
"They are worried that once their spouses die or have an accident, they will lose their security for them and their children, because they become guarantors through their spouses and apply for visas every two years to continue to live in our country."
She hopes that the government will issue permanent residence permits to meet the conditions for residence based on a humanitarian standpoint. The Ministry of the Interior and Immigration Bureau should speed up the processing of relevant applications to avoid letting applicants wait for many years, and eventually get the result of rejection of the application.
