Not long ago, when handling a case of infringement of minors, the Wujiagang District People's Procuratorate found that the relevant administrative organs had not fulfilled their mandatory reporting obligations and reported to the procuratorate. Subsequently, the public interest litigation case handling team of the court conducted an investigation into functional institutions with reporting obligations in the entire district. After investigation, it was found that some functional units have not established a complete mandatory reporting contact system, and some staff members are not fully aware of the content of the mandatory reporting system.
In order to effectively urge relevant functional departments to perform their duties in accordance with the law, we will promote the implementation of the mandatory reporting system in detail. On the afternoon of the 14th, the court specially invited people's supervisors, hearing officers, and staff of relevant functional agencies in the district to conduct public hearings, and Prosecutor General Peng Songdong presided over the hearing meeting. At the

meeting, the host prosecutor informed the basic situation of the case and introduced the importance of the mandatory reporting system for infringement of minors. Representatives of various units made speeches on the specific situation of the implementation of the mandatory reporting system. Prosecutor Peng Songdong emphasized: "Protecting minors means protecting our future. The mandatory reporting system has been introduced very early, but the implementation of our district is far from enough. Judging from the cases handled in recent years, cases of minors being infringed in our jurisdiction occur frequently; supervision is not the purpose of our procuratorate, but the important thing is to promote the implementation of this system." At the meeting, the hearing officers unanimously agreed that the procuratorate adopted consultation to promote the implementation of the mandatory reporting system, and at the same time put forward several suggestions: "First, work should be from passive discovery to active." The report changes were discovered; the second was to reduce the intermediate process and report directly to the judicial organs; the third was that various functional departments held regular contact meetings for communication; the fourth was that each functional unit would clarify the contact person as soon as possible, and if there were any changes, they should report it to the procuratorate in a timely manner."

Subsequently, the court consulted with relevant functional departments on the further implementation of the compulsory reporting system and reached an agreement: the relevant functional departments strengthened their study and conveyed the specific content of the compulsory reporting system, established an internal reporting process, and promptly clarified the contact person of the compulsory reporting system after the meeting, and promptly feedback to the procuratorate.
Next step, the court will also follow up and supervise the implementation of the compulsory reporting system by relevant functional departments to ensure that the implementation of the compulsory reporting system is implemented, form a benign interaction between the fair justice of the procuratorate and the administrative organs' administration according to law, and jointly protect the healthy growth of minors.
