[Original title] Tashkent Prefecture seized an underground workshop for repackaging expired drugs
According to the "Qingshishi.com", recently, investigators from the Uzbekistan National Security Bureau seized an underground workshop for repackaging expired drugs in Yangjiyuli District, Tashkent Prefecture. A group of criminals changed the packaging of the drug, changed the production date, and launched sales again.
After investigation, it was found that a local resident born in 1976 built an underground workshop in his home, which was specially used to repackage expired foreign drugs. During the search, a total of 445,000 units of 34 drugs were found, most of which were produced in France, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Turkey, , Russia, India and Ukraine.
The validity period of these drugs is between 2007 and 2020. The identification shows that the total value of these drugs exceeds 3.1 billion sum (approximately RMB 2.0155 million). In addition, forged trademarks and seals and special equipment marked on the packaging were also seized in the workshop.
Recently, a similar case was also seized in Yashnabad District, Tashkent. When inspecting a truck arriving from Fergana , four medical supplies were found in excess of 72,000 units. These products are produced abroad, but do not have the required documentation for import. The total amount of this batch of goods exceeded 231 million Sumu (approximately RMB 150,200). Later, it turned out that these medical products were illegally smuggled and imported from neighboring countries to Ukraine.
At present, a criminal lawsuit has been filed on the above facts in accordance with the relevant provisions of the " Criminal Law ", and the investigation is underway.
