According to Reuters , the Hungarian government said on the 10th local time that Hungarian and Serbian reached an agreement on the construction of an oil pipeline. The two sides agreed to supply Russian Ural crude oil to Serbia through this new pipeline connected to the Drugespa pipeline to avoid the impact of EU sanctions on Russia.

Reuters: Hungary and Serbia agreed to build pipelines to transport Russian oil to Serbia
reported that Hungarian government international affairs spokesman Kovac Zoltan tweeted the announcement: "The new oil pipeline connected to the Drugepa pipeline will enable Serbia to obtain cheaper Ural crude oil." He also added that the oil supply to Serbia is mainly through a pipeline passing through Croatia , "but due to the (EU) sanctions, this (an oil transmission pathway) is unlikely (continue to be realized) in the future."
Drugepa oil pipeline is a large oil pipeline system for Russia to transport crude oil to Central and Eastern European countries. The southern line part is transported to Hungary and other European countries through Ukraine.
Reuters said that Hungary, which relies heavily on Russian oil and natural gas , has been the strongest critic of the EU's sanctions against Russia, which Hungary believes have pushed up energy prices.
Some analysts previously said that the current inflation rate in euro is still high, mainly due to the sharp rise in energy prices. EU sanctions on Russia have further strengthened expectations that oil prices will remain high and will delay the time for overall inflation to fall, affect economic recovery and have an impact on European companies and households. European Central Bank President Lagarde previously stated that further boycotts importing Russian energy will have a significant impact and may have serious consequences in some countries.
