On the afternoon of October 9, Yang Yan, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Autonomous Region Water Resources Department, visited the Kapoklu Soil and Water Conservation Science and Technology Demonstration Park to investigate and guide the work.
Director Yang Yan visited the duty building, the soil and water conservation science exhibition hall of the comprehensive building, the soil and water conservation scientific research observation and testing area, the soil and water conservation technology demonstration area, and the soil and water conservation ecological construction area for research and guidance. He listened to the report of the demonstration park Ning Chunpeng Station on the operation and management of the demonstration park, soil and water conservation monitoring , popular science education, and scientific research cooperation work, and introduced the research content and progress of the Guangxi key scientific research project "Research Demonstration on the High-Efficiency and Sustainable Utilization of Special Medicinal and Food Homogenous Plants in the Ecologically Fragile Zone" jointly implemented by the Water Conservation Station and the Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the demonstration park. Director Yang Yan fully affirmed the operation and management of the science and technology demonstration park, and the water conservation station relied on the demonstration park's soil and water resources and scientific research institutions to carry out scientific research cooperation and technical exchanges, and pointed out that it is necessary to further utilize the soil and water resources and monitoring infrastructure of the science and technology demonstration park, and continue to play a good role in the demonstration park's soil and water conservation science demonstration, technical research, soil and water conservation scientific research observation, popular science education, and ecological landscape expansion, so as to play a greater role in the high-quality development of Guangxi's soil and water conservation.
