In order to effectively carry out the in-depth management of VOCs in key industries in Heze City and further improve air quality, on October 6, the Heze Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau organized a meeting to promote the city's in-depth management of VOCs in key industries and key atmospheric work. The meeting was chaired by Wang Lijun, deputy director of the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, and the directors in charge of the ecological environment branches of each county and district and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting. At the meeting, relevant persons in charge of CNPC East China Design Institute summarized and analyzed the existing problems in the VOCs governance process of 13 key petrochemical and coking enterprises in Heze City, and analyzed the difficulties and bottlenecks in the work from multiple aspects such as problem tracking, plan formulation and construction period optimization, and put forward opinions and suggestions for the city's in-depth VOCs governance work in the next step. The heads of relevant departments of the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau respectively made speeches on the recent key tasks of air pollution prevention and control in Heze City, from fully promoting the in-depth management of VOCs in key industries and the installation of non-road mobile machinery inkjet and positioning devices in Heze City, and arranged the improvement and transformation of pollution control facilities, negotiated emission reduction of atmospheric fixed sources, response to heavy pollution weather, prevention and control of mobile source pollution, and supervision of non-road mobile machinery. The meeting pointed out that we must fully attach importance to the importance of in-depth VOCs governance in improving air quality, highlight key points, and make every effort to promote the improvement of VOCs governance in key industries; we must strengthen guidance and assistance to enterprises in the jurisdiction, actively build a technology exchange platform, publicize excellent industry cases, and effectively improve the level of VOCs governance and environmental protection management in the industry; we must strengthen law enforcement and supervision, urge enterprises to effectively fulfill the main responsibilities of VOCs rectification, accelerate the rectification progress in accordance with specifications and standards, and ensure that emission reduction tasks are completed on time.
