On the morning of October 7, district leader Li Xinling presided over a meeting on promoting people's livelihood tillage in Tonghe District. District leader Yang Juxue and the heads of the district’s responsible units for people’s livelihood attended the meeting. The
meeting reported on the progress of people's livelihood projects in the province, city and district in 2022, put forward specific requirements for the promotion of people's livelihood projects, and made arrangements and deployments for the next step of work. The heads of 8 responsible units made statements. The meeting pointed out that the practical matters of people's livelihood are the municipal party committee and municipal government. In order to enhance the people's sense of happiness and gain, the district party committee and district government must concentrate on major matters involving the vital interests of the people. All responsible units should firmly establish the people-centered development philosophy, effectively change their work style, and take the protection and improvement of people's livelihood as the fundamental task in mind and in their hands. We must realize that people's livelihood is connected to people's hearts, and people's hearts gather people's strength. Solving people's livelihood problems is the greatest politics, and improving people's livelihood is the greatest political achievement. The
meeting emphasized that all responsible units should insist on fighting with the chart, grasp the time nodes, and strive for early construction, early commissioning and early benefit to the people's livelihood projects. All departments should adhere to the idea of a chess game in the whole district, strengthen organizational leadership, strengthen coordination and cooperation, and promote implementation as a whole. No department can drag it down and no problems can occur in any link. The
meeting requires that the practical matters of people's livelihood this year must be fully completed by the end of October. We must have a sense of responsibility of "a promise of a thousand gold", so as to achieve "time remains unchanged, tasks remain unchanged, and responsibilities remain unchanged", and submit a satisfactory answer to the people with real work. The district inspection department should include all unfinished practical matters in the key inspection scope, combine daily supervision with random inspections and undercover investigations, follow up and supervise the whole process, timely grasp the progress of the work, report the progress in a timely manner, and ensure that practical matters in people's livelihood are completed with quality and quantity. We will consolidate strong support for people's livelihood for building a beautiful new river and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects with high quality.
