htmlOn September 24, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Party General Branch of Shanghong Community held a theme party class with the theme of "Relive the years of struggle, keep in mind the original mission, and welcome the 20th National Congress". It specially invited 82-year-old party members in the community, who are also retired soldiers who aided Vietnam and fought against the United States, to teach all party members. In the party class of the theme, Comrade Wang Zhifu, an old party member who participated in the War of Resistance Against the United States and was honored for 60 years in the Party, used powerful language and rich and vivid examples to tell everyone about the thrilling heroic deeds of the battlefield, fully demonstrating the revolutionary spirit of hard work and selfless dedication of the older generation of Communist Party members in the past, and the little-known struggle history and patriotic feelings of self-sacrifice for the public and devote themselves to the country. Finally, Comrade Wang Zhifu did not forget to remind the younger generation to not forget their original aspirations, keep their mission in mind, and work hard to welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with full enthusiasm.
Everyone agreed that listening to Comrade Wang Zhifu’s party lesson is a review of the years of history, and an imprint of the original aspiration and mission. We must learn from the Volunteer Army of Resisting U.S. Aiding Vietnam, carry forward the great spirit of resisting U.S. Aiding Vietnam with practical actions, keeping our original aspiration in mind, and constantly working hard in our posts. In the next step, all party members of the Party General Branch of Shanghong Community should make new ideological and political improvements, new enhancements in ideals and beliefs, and new achievements in serving the masses through the study, reference and application of party history. We should welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Party.
