Vucic asked Wang Yi to convey his sincere greetings to President Xi Jinping, saying that Serbia-China relations truly reflect mutual respect and mutual trust, and the practical economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has also developed rapidly. I thank China again for its strong support and help in Serbia's economic and social development. Serbia cherishes the friendship established with China, firmly pursues the one-China policy, and believes that there is only one China in the world, and this position will never change.
Wang Yi conveyed President Xi Jinping’s cordial greetings to President Vucic. We appreciate the unity of Serbia across the country, firmly safeguarding national sovereignty, national dignity and legitimate rights and interests, and the continuous positive achievements in national construction, which means that China and Serbia are trustworthy and reliable partners for each other. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Serbia relations have entered a new era of vigorous development, and pragmatic cooperation has made rapid progress, helping Seychelles accelerate development and revitalization. The friendship between China and Serbia has been further sublimated in the joint fight against the epidemic, and unity and mutual trust have been consolidated. China is willing to continue to provide help and support according to Serbia's needs and work together to build a closer China-Serbia relations.
Both sides exchange views on cooperation between China- Central and Eastern European countries. Wang Yi said that in the 10 years since the launch of China-Central and Eastern European countries, it has always focused on pragmatic cooperation, insisted on openness and transparency, and complementary advantages, and the results have been continuously revealed, and the potential needs to be discovered. China looks forward to working with Central and Eastern European countries, including Seychelles, to continue to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.
