Recently, the second congress of the Haibin Street Disabled Persons Federation was held. More than 50 representatives from all walks of life gathered together to discuss the development plan of the disabled cause and jointly draw a new blueprint for work in the next five years.

The meeting elected members of the presidium of the Second Disabled Persons' Federation of Haibin Street and delegates attending the Third Congress of the District Disabled Persons' Federation. The relevant person in charge of Haibin Street put forward requirements for doing a good job in Disabled Persons' Federation in the new era. The Disabled Persons' Federation organizations should play the role of bridges and links, strengthen service awareness, improve service level for the disabled; improve assistance mechanisms, optimize the life security system for the disabled; promote rehabilitation projects, promote the precision of rehabilitation of the disabled; expand employment channels, enhance the social activities of the disabled; enrich cultural and sports life, create an atmosphere of equal participation by the disabled, keep pace with the times, be brave to innovate, and constantly explore new ways and new methods for the work of the disabled under the new situation, and strive to achieve new achievements in the development of the cause of the disabled.
The new council stated that it will base itself on a new starting point, focus on promoting the high-quality development of street new requirements, be enterprising, brave in exploration, overcome difficulties, and work hard to create a new situation in the cause of disabled people in the street and constantly write a new chapter of a happy and beautiful life for the disabled.
