In order to further strengthen the political awareness and discipline awareness of party members and cadres, on the morning of September 23, the Municipal Water Resources Bureau held a special tutoring meeting for the 2022 Discipline Education and Study Month around the theme of "Be brave to self-revolution and always maintain advanced and purity", and invited Xie Jian, deputy head of the Discipline Inspection Group of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision to give special tutoring. Tan Junyan, member of the Party Group and deputy director of the Bureau, also gave a special party class to party members and cadres based on the party's century-old struggle and work reality. More than 60 people from the bureau and subordinate party branches attended the meeting. At the meeting, Deputy Group Leader Xie Jian gave a tutorial on the topic of "Be cautious, be afraid, be the bottom line, and do your duty - be a Jiangmen Water Conservancy Person who abides by the rules, discipline and law." By deeply analyzing typical cases of violations of laws and discipline, he sorted out common problems of violations of laws and discipline, and set up a "warning line" for cadres to be honest and self-disciplined.
Deputy Team Leader Xie Jian also used cases around him to alert people around him and continuously improve the effectiveness of warning and education in response to illegal cases in the water conservancy industry in the surrounding areas in recent years. He emphasized that party members and cadres in the water conservancy system must understand their responsibilities, implement them, and each shoulder their responsibilities. With an attitude of being responsible to the organization, being responsible to the people, and being responsible to themselves, we should effectively enhance the ideological awareness of being honest in politics, using power with integrity, self-cultivation, and self-management of the family; we should be cautious and fearful, abide by the bottom line, strengthen daily supervision, keep a close eye on the risk points of corruption, catch up with the early and small, and prevent it before it happens; we should work hard and have passion, carry forward the spirit of self-revolution, strengthen the construction of family education and family style, build a solid line of defense for the "three no corruptions", and always maintain the political character of the Communists.
Then, Deputy Director Tan Junyan taught party classes for party members and cadres based on the century-old struggle of the Party. By introducing the process of gradually forming and improving Party discipline, he guided party members and cadres to deeply understand the spirit of the Communist Party’s courage to self-revolution. He pointed out that we must always take establishing and following rules as an important means, promote comprehensive and strict governance of the party in , and gather the tremendous power of development and progress.
Tan Junyan emphasized that we should take this special tutoring education as an opportunity to adhere to problem-oriented approach, promote the construction of party style and clean government, and do a good job in the "second half of the article" of inspection and rectification. All Party members and cadres should learn from the typical cases reported by the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection recently, learn from the typical cases of accountability, learn from them, and effectively enhance the ideological and behavioral awareness of the "three non-corruptions", create a strong atmosphere for doing things and starting businesses, and welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with outstanding results.
