Liu Yongge emphasized that it is necessary to pay close attention to weather changes, issue early warning information in a timely manner, conduct classified research and judgment guidance, and improve the accuracy, reliability and practicality of monitoring and early warning. It is necessary to keep a close eye on important parts and key areas, strengthen the investigation of hidden dangers, comprehensively check for leaks and fill in the gaps, and ensure that dangers are detected and dealt with early. It is necessary to speed up road dredging and river dredging, strengthen verification and statistics, truthfully report disaster situations, and help the affected people actively carry out self-rescue.
Liu Yongge required that responsibilities at all levels should be effectively implemented, a high degree of alertness should be maintained, a strict duty system should be maintained, and various channels such as radio, television, and the Internet should be fully utilized to widely publicize emergency and hazard avoidance knowledge and improve the public's awareness and ability of flood prevention and disaster relief.
