On June 28, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Digital Standards Initiative (DSI) Legal Reform Advisory Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) held a working meeting online. ICC Secretary General John Denton gave a welcome speech, and Committee Co-Chairman Chris Southworth chaired the meeting. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Secretary General, China Chamber of International Commerce Executive Vice President Yu Jianlong, Thomas Abel, Head of Technology Development Department of the Asian Development Bank, Ahmedou Kane, Senior Manager of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, Digital Standards Initiative About 20 people, including deputy directors Hannah Nguyen and Raoul Renard, attended the meeting and spoke.

Denton introduced the work done by ICC in promoting the digitalization of trade. He pointed out that in the context of geopolitical conflicts, the importance of trade digitalization has gradually become more prominent. The ICC will extensively contact the global business community and relevant international organizations to promote the development process of trade digitalization and achieve sustainable growth of the global economy.

Yu Jianlong introduced the relevant work done by the International Chamber of Commerce China (ICC China) in promoting trade digitalization. He said that ICC China has recently established a trade digitalization working group. The next step will be to conduct research on the commercial application of ICC digital rules, China's relevant digital laws and regulations, and trade digitalization development practices, and submit opinions and suggestions to relevant departments. Further promote the development of global trade. Representatives from the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, France, and Germany introduced the latest status of trade digitalization work. The

meeting also discussed funding plans for developing countries, the latest work progress of DSI, etc.
