The reporter was Little A's grandmother. She revealed to the police that she and Little A lived together and that Little A's parents worked in Bangkok. On September 14, before the incident, Little A’s mother called and told Little A that it was not easy to make money and wanted to postpone the deadline for buying a new mobile phone for Little A at the end of this month (September). Little A seemed unwilling, and said to the mother on the other end of the phone, "If I don't have a (new) mobile phone, I will hang myself." Little A's grandmother said that she thought Little A was just a moment of anger, and she didn't take it seriously at the time, and now she regrets it. Later that day, she waited for a long time for Little A to come out for dinner, so she went to the bedroom to find Little A. After opening the door, she found that Little A had hanged himself to death.
After inspection, the police found no traces of fighting in the room. It was preliminarily confirmed that Xiao A had committed suicide. His body will be sent to the hospital for autopsy according to law, and the family will be contacted for subsequent funeral matters.
