The police were asked to go and deal with it. After receiving the alarm, the immigration management police of the institute rushed to the scene quickly and found that the insect was larger than ordinary arthropods, elongated in shape, with a broad pronotum and a bronze-greenish luster. The elytra were dark brown, and the back was dark brown. The head is arched and small. It is reported that the beetle is mainly distributed in the mountainous areas of southern and southwestern Yunnan. The larvae feed on decaying wood, and the adults feed on the sap flowing out of tree wounds. Due to the strange shapes and bright colors of this genus, it is favored by insect enthusiasts, but it has also led to indiscriminate hunting by lawless elements in the wild, putting the population under great threat.
