Volunteers from the Heart of Taiwan Animal Welfare Association recently searched for a litter of stray dogs in Yuanli Town, Miaoli County, hoping to find the source and sterilize them.

As a result, while tracking, I heard from local residents that because there are many stray dogs and free-range dogs nearby, there are also a group of stray cats on the roof to avoid dogs!

Cats often move around on roofs or trees. Everyone says they are “cats in the sky and dogs on the earth”, so the volunteers have another sterilization task!

After the preliminary investigation, the volunteers quickly set a time and rushed to the scene with cages and cans full of them, determined to sterilize them all!

arrived at the place, and the volunteers asked kind-hearted people who usually feed the cats to spread cat food. After the first cat showed up, a large number of cats appeared soon after, and a rough count of about 40 cats appeared.

Looking at these cats fighting for food on the roof, everyone laughed and said it looked like a group of carps fighting for food!

However, this was also the first time for the volunteers to catch a cat on the roof, and they even borrowed a ladder, thinking it would be very difficult.

But perhaps because they are usually fed by people and there are delicious canned food as a lure, they are not very afraid of people. In the first two minutes, a cat took the bait and entered the cage.

The cats are really comfortable on the roof. They are basically unsuspecting. There are even cats that go directly into the cage to eat canned food without hesitation, and there are even "queues" behind them.

However, not all cats are easy to deceive. In the future, there may be fewer and fewer companions, and a few shrewd cats will become wary and wander back and forth.

The volunteers could only brave the scorching sun and compete with the cats on the ladder with cans of different flavors!

Fortunately, in the end, the volunteers came back with a full load and used all the cages they brought. They also recorded the locations in detail and put them back after sterilization.

Sterilizing stray furry children is the root cause of the problem. Problem!
