Since the zoo was closed, "Yuanbao"'s second birthday was held online that day and was broadcast live on social media. "Yuanbao" and her mother enjoyed the birthday cake together. Tens of thousands of netizens went to the live broadcast room to watch and left messages to send birthday wishes.

Giant pandas also need "body management"

Previously, the mainland gave Taiwan giant pandas "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan" their first litter, " Yuanzai ", because they were overweight and started a weight loss plan. At less than 9 years old, she weighs as much as her father. Taking health factors into consideration, the zoo specially prepared a "special weight loss meal" in the hope of helping her achieve her ideal weight.
"Yuan Zai" is born with a "small face" and looks very cute and young, but in fact he is already an adult. The nursery usually prepares the same amount of food for her as other adult pandas. The younger sister "Yuanbao" now weighs about 84 kilograms, which is heavier than her older sister "Yuanzai" at the same age. In May 2005, Chen Yunlin, then director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, announced in Shanghai that compatriots from the mainland would present a pair of giant pandas symbolizing peace, unity and friendship to compatriots in Taiwan.
In the "draft" at the China Giant Panda Research Center in Wolong, Sichuan, a female giant panda born in August 2004 and a male giant panda born in September of the same year made their "combined debut".
