"United News Network" stated that at about 2 o'clock this afternoon, a 42-year-old man surnamed Cai in New Taipei City went to Huafeng 1st Street, Bali District, and shot Lin Wenwen (60 years old), a gang leader nicknamed "Bago". The victim was shot twice in the right shoulder and back and lay lying in a pool of blood. After the police were reported to the scene, they rushed the injured to the hospital for emergency treatment, but he showed no vital signs on the way to the hospital. At around 5 p.m., the man surnamed Lin was pronounced dead due to serious injuries.
The man surnamed Cai went to the police station to surrender after committing the crime. The police seized a pistol, a magazine and 4 bullets from his body. The case is under police investigation. The man surnamed Cai testified that he rode a motorcycle to a place in the forest and shot someone in revenge because of a recent dispute.
According to reports, the injured person was the president of Bali District of the Tiandao Alliance Ji Guild and was listed as a population with public security concerns by the police. In January this year, gambling and firearms were seized by the Bali Police Station.
