Zhao Jing also recalled that she participated in a science and technology competition once in elementary school. Most of the other students who participated in the competition made simple small desk lamps, connecting circuits and other works. But she chose different ideas and methods - DIY herself, using shoe boxes, rubber bands, and paper roll cores to make an automatic forward device. After handing over the works, her unique ideas also made her achieve good results in this competition. Perhaps this seed of love for innovation has been sown at that time.

After communicating with instructor Wang Ye, Zhao Jing also determined her graduation design topic: treat the waste acid produced in industrial waste titanium dioxide, and then use the extracted calcium sulfate to waste to produce micron-level whiskers with higher commercial value. At that time, the instructor asked her to make whiskers with an aspect ratio of more than 50.
In order to strive for excellence, Zhao Jing also consulted a large amount of literature and found better experimental methods and operated over and over again in the laboratory. "Since the beginning of my senior year, I started running to the lab. When I was busy, I stayed from 9 am until 6 or 7 pm. After coming out of the lab, I felt very tired, but I was mentally satisfied." She said that the feeling of calming down to solve the problem and doing things made her obsessed.

Through hard work, she finally made whiskers with an aspect ratio of more than 180, which far exceeded the requirements of the instructor. Her original intention of signing up was to learn more financial knowledge and master some additional skills. Three years of study in the second major is hard. From trying to loving
In addition to studying, Zhao Jing also injected full enthusiasm into Hanfu. From an accidental attempt in her freshman year to an in-depth understanding of the shape characteristics of different dynasties, she has always been obsessed with the profound history that has been accumulated over thousands of years.
Zhao Jing also started to learn about Hanfu culture since college, and often appreciates the outfits of Hanfu bloggers on online videos. "I feel very beautiful when I see other people wearing Hanfu taking photos. When I first bought it, I am limited to simple and improved styles, and I prefer to incorporate modern Chinese elements. Later, after reading the relevant history, I will pay more attention to the correctness of the form." In daily life, she often wears Hanfu on a trip, especially on traditional festivals, and will wear Hanfu to increase the sense of ritual in life. Her favorite shape is the Ming horse-faced skirt . She believes that the dignity and grandeur of the horse-face shows the cultural heritage of the great country in China.
With her love for Hanfu, she also brought her beloved Hanfu when she went to Imperial College in the UK for her graduate school. Walking on the streets of foreign lands in traditional Chinese costumes - this is not only a unique way to promote excellent Chinese traditional culture, but also a comfort to the feeling of homesickness that leaves home.
In addition to Hanfu, photography is also one of Zhao Jingyi's hobbies. When she was a freshman, the camera she gave her was her best "partner" when taking photos, and she accompanied her through every progressive stage. During college, she had more time to learn photography knowledge. "I enjoyed my little progress." In life, she was accustomed to picking up the camera to record every detail, and she also acted as a "exclusive photographer" for her friends, showing their beauty with the lens.
