Processing workshop is located in Baosheng Village, Baicheng Economic Development Zone. "There is a chimney in the yard. It cannot be seen from outside. You can only smell a stench. It can't stand it when passing by." The villagers said that sometimes you can see someone boiling grease in the yard with iron pots, and then put them in large oil barrels to transport them out. The barrels look particularly heavy, and sometimes you have to use a forklift. "It's obvious that it's gutter oil. If it's sold for people to eat, the consequences will be unimaginable!" This is something the villagers are worried about.
Site: There are dozens of large iron barrels
On March 24, a joint law enforcement inspection team composed of the public security, industry and commerce, and food and drug supervision rushed to the scene. Law enforcement officers found a square iron pot and a large amount of oil-making raw materials in the yard. There were at least dozens of large iron buckets containing the materials, and an unpleasant smell came out from time to time. The counting results of law enforcement officers showed that a total of 100 barrels of waste oil that had been filled with transport were stored on site. It was learned that the person in charge of the processing site was named Jing, and he was inquired by the staff during the law enforcement inspection.
Jing told law enforcement officers that he collected discarded oil from the sewers of the restaurant, came back to process and boiled it into "oil", and then sold it to the outside, and he could earn 400 yuan per barrel. Jing said that the "oil products" he sold were not for human consumption, but were used as an industrial raw material for the production of biodiesel. Afterwards, Jing showed the law enforcement officers the contract he signed with a technology company in Jilin Province to prove that the "oil products" did not flow back to the citizens' dining tables.
Law Enforcement: imposed administrative penalties on the parties
After investigation, Jing was engaged in production, processing and sales without completing an industrial and commercial business license and other related procedures, and was suspected of operating without a license. Zhang Hongwei, captain of the Economic Inspection Detachment of Baicheng Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau, said that the behavior of the parties involved has a great impact on the daily lives of surrounding residents. Second, the "products" they produce have certain public safety hazards, and the industrial and commercial authorities will ban them in accordance with the law. The "products" that have been produced must be transferred to a regular manufacturer for proper handling, and the parties involved will be subject to administrative penalties.
