According to the information of Kang County Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau, after voluntary application by the creation unit, review and recommendation by the municipal and prefecture authorities, expert review by the review group and online announcement, six counties and districts in Longnan City, including Kang County , Jiuquan City , Suzhou District, etc. have recently been recognized as the second batch of "Gansu Province Leisure Agriculture Demonstration County". Kang County is the only county and district in Longnan selected.
It is understood that carrying out the creation of leisure agriculture demonstration counties and demonstration sites is an important measure to thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government on promoting the development of leisure agriculture, creating a demonstration brand of leisure agriculture, and leading the healthy development of the leisure agriculture industry in the province. It is of great significance to the province's transformation of agricultural development mode, promoting farmers' employment and increasing income, and meeting the growing leisure consumption needs of urban and rural residents.
