According to the latest monitoring data from the local hydrological department, the current water level has reached 22.32 meters, which is 2.8 meters higher than the warning water level. This water level has been lowered compared with the previous two days. The Kangshan embankment where we are now protects Kangshan Township . Kangshan Township has a lot of farmland, paddy fields and houses, protecting the lives and property of 100,000 people.
At present, the height of the Poyang Lake is 6.5 meters higher than the height of the ground plane of Kangshan Township. The flood control pressure in this place is very high. This is where the danger happened before. At around 8 a.m. on July 11, the inspectors of the dike inspected the dike and found a large group of bubble springs in the Kangshan section of Kangshan Dike. The bubble springs at the bottom of the dam continued to flow out, and the dam body was sliding and deformed, and the slope was dissolution. The slope length was about 200 meters and the total area was about 10,000 square meters.
After the dangerous situation, the officers and soldiers of the Jiangxi Provincial Armed Police Corps urgently entered the rescue and worked with local cadres and masses to repair the embankment. With the joint efforts of armed police officers and local flood control personnel, the danger that occurred on July 11 has been basically eliminated, but rescue and berth protection work is still in progress.
At present, there are 56 villages and party and government agencies at all levels around Kangshan Dike, with more than 1,000 people joining the inspection team.
