Recently, two typhoons "Nisha" (translated by mainland China) and "Haitang" hit Taiwan continuously, causing flooding in southern Taiwan, and many areas were vast; electric towers collapsed in eastern Taiwan, causing the power limit crisis in northern Taiwan to reach the most tense.

Not only that, these two typhoons also broke the three "ruling" myths of the DPP.
First, Tsai Ing-wen's myth
In August 2009, Ma Ying-jeou, then the leader of Taiwan, took a helicopter to Xinfa Village, Liugui Township, Kaohsiung County to investigate the disaster. He was criticized by the Democratic Progressive Party Chairman Tsai Ing-wen, "You should take a ride to sympathize with the hardships of the victims." Tsai Ing-wen even threatened that she really wanted to remove Ma Ying-jeou's arm.
This year, the double typhoons of "Nasha" and "Begonia" created Taiwan, especially some villages in Pingtung, Tsai Ing-wen's hometown, were flooded for 48 hours. On the afternoon of the 31st, Tsai Ing-wen went south to Pingtung to investigate the disaster. When she was in Donggang, she actually asked the media accompanying her: "Have you been flooded?" A female reporter responded in a slightly depressed tone: "Everyone has been flooded for three days." After hearing this, Tsai Ing-wen laughed and said: "I was just shook hands and asked everyone if they were flooded, and each of them was flooded..."

Second, Lai Qingde’s myth
Judging from the fact that Lai Ching-te was repeatedly "premier", Lai Ching-te can definitely be called the "myth" of the Democratic Progressive Party. However, the nickname "Lai Shen" comes from five years ago.
In August 2012, a typhoon of "Libra" hit, and classes in central and southern counties and cities were suspended. Only Tainan City Director Lai Ching-te resisted the public opinion and announced that he would go to work and class normally at 5 a.m., but that day was indeed not very stormy, and Lai Ching-te was named "Lai Shen".
Once people were labeled as "God", they would always suffer from it. Lai Ching-te. The same is true for virtue. For example, from now on, the announcement of whether to have a typhoon holiday in Tainan City has to wait for Lai Qingte to think about it for a while before it was announced.

Third, there is no shortage of electronic myths

"Anti-nuclearity" has always been another "god card" of the Democratic Progressive Party. In order to defeat the Kuomintang and Ma Ying-jeou, the DPP has won the recognition of the people on the island under the anti-nuclear banner of "non-nuclear home".
On March 14, 2015, under the leadership of the Democratic Progressive Party, Taiwan’s annual anti-nuclear parade was staged again. Tsai Ing-wen, then chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party, appeared in the team and proposed the goals and specific practices of the 2025 non-nuclear home. In the parade, Hao Ran also appeared slogans such as "Use Love to Generate Power Brigade" and "Use Love to Generate Power, Love Unlimited".
The people still don’t know what will happen to the “2025 non-nuclear home”, but at present, as long as the temperature is high, there will be electricity famine everywhere on the island. What the Tsai administration can do is to invite the public to blow free air conditioners in large shopping malls and blow electric fans in administrative agencies, but never bring out a truly pioneering “beef”.
