National VI emissions have been implemented for two years, National VI B has begun to be implemented, and the arrival of National VII will not be too far away. The new emission standards are getting closer and closer, which means that the previous gas trucks will be eliminated at a faster pace.

National One Country Two Automobile has been restricted by local governments. The next turn is National III. Our National III car may not last long.

Beijing took the lead in studying restricting the National III gasoline car

On the 16th of last month, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and several other departments issued a notice entitled "Several Measures to Accelerate the Distribution of Second-hand Cars and Promote the Upgrading of Automobile Consumption".

In the notice "Expanding the scope of old cars for travel restrictions", it clearly mentioned the issue of studying the restrictions on travel restrictions of National III gasoline vehicles.

The specific original text is as follows: "According to the restricted driving of the original National One and National III gasoline vehicles and National III diesel vehicles, the scope of restricted vehicles will be expanded to National III gasoline vehicles in a timely manner."

According to the latest research, there are nearly 1 million National III diesel vehicles facing elimination in my country. As early as 2017, some regions have put the elimination of National III on the agenda. At present, there are still a large number of National III trucks on the market. At this stage, most cities do not allow the transfer of National III vehicles, and my country has completely banned the sale of National III new vehicles.

Currently, Beijing has expanded the scope of National III traffic restrictions to the scope of gasoline vehicles, which will affect hundreds of thousands of people. According to conservative estimates, 4% of the vehicles in Beijing are now National III, which means that it will affect the use of cars of at least 200,000 people.

From a national perspective, my country's fuel vehicle ownership is at least 300 million, so the National III vehicle ownership is expected to be 12 million. If it is implemented nationwide, at least tens of millions of families will be affected.

National III standard only 14 years old, National III car is the youngest and 10 years old

On July 1, 2008, the National III emission standards were officially implemented nationwide, and the National IV standard was implemented nationwide on July 1, 2010. From January 1, 2012, any compressed-ignition new cars that do not meet the requirements of the National IV standard cannot be sold and registered. In other words, the National Third Car has been produced for up to three and a half years, the oldest is only 14 years old, and the youngest is only 10 years old.

According to the notice, the National III gasoline vehicle will not be able to enter the Fifth Ring Road of Beijing by then, which means it cannot move in the urban area, which is tantamount to scrapping in disguise.

. According to the scrapping guarantee of domestic vehicles restricted by my country, private cars have no scrapping time. Only when driving 600,000 kilometers will it be guided to scrap. According to the mileage of 20,000 kilometers per year for family cars, the National III vehicles are far from meeting the conditions for scrapping, and there is no problem with the quality and can accompany us for many years.

is too hasty?

From an environmental perspective, the earlier this policy is implemented, the better, but based on the actual situation, this policy is obviously too hasty.

As mentioned in the previous article, the youngest National III car is only 10 years old, and it has only driven more than 100,000 to 200,000 kilometers. If the traffic restrictions are restricted, it will eliminate this batch of models and cause losses to the owner's property.

The author insists on the view that "tailoring" is whether to restrict traffic. Every car is different. If the emission standards are not met, the traffic will definitely be restricted. However, the National III vehicles that meet the standards should be passed. Use the detection data to speak, and the so-called standards cannot be used to measure one-size-fits-all.

In January this year, the country issued the "14th Five-Year Plan" comprehensive work plan for energy conservation and emission reduction, which clearly mentioned that the need to basically eliminate vehicles with emission standards of National III and below. Beijing is also the first to respond to the policy this time. Overall, our National III car may not be able to accompany us for a few years.
