Acute myocardial infarction is a typical manifestation of pain in the middle of the chest (behind the sternum), or in the left (precenteral area) of the chest. This pain is not a sting at a certain point, but a pain in the whole film, which is burning, pressing pain, and even a sense of dying, and lasts for more than 15 minutes. However, acute myocardial infarction also has atypical symptoms, and there are five common pains:
1. Sore throat, which is often burning and painful in the throat, and feels tightness in the throat, which may be accompanied by chest tightness and sensation of holding breath.
2. Shoulder pain is generally caused by dull pain on the left shoulder or the inner side of the left arm, which may radiate to the little finger and ring finger.
3. Toothache often makes multiple teeth and even the entire gum feel pain. Generally, there is no clear dental disease, which is more common in women.
4.Stomach pain , which continuously aggravates stomach pain, fullness, nausea, vomiting, etc., especially during activities.
5. Pain on the back or jaw. These atypical manifestations can easily cause delayed treatment, even missed diagnosis, misdiagnosis, and clinically, patients with myocardial infarction have teeth extracted due to toothache. Here we remind patients and doctors that if the above situation occurs, the electrocardiogram needs to be checked to rule out myocardial infarction. (via Peking University People's Hospital )
